Help contribute to the financial autonomy and sustainability of SFA As we enter a new phase in the fight against the billion-dollar fast-food industry on the heels of the Taco Bell and McDonald's victories, we're asking our members and allies to help us secure the necessary resources to take this struggle to the next level. You can help today in one of two ways:
Since its quiet beginnings in 2000, SFA has grown from a handful of Florida youth to a national network organizing in alliance with farmworkers to eliminate sweatshop conditions and modern-day slavery in the fields. In just a few years – and on a shoestring budget – we've organized with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers to build a dynamic, nationwide movement holding some of the world's largest corporations accountable for human rights abuses in their supply chains. Building on the historic Taco Bell and McDonald's campaign victories, we are poised to make systemic and long-overdue changes in the US agriculture and food industries, with our current focus on the world's number two burger chain, Burger King. In the course of the fight, we will continue to provide valuable training and leadership development for a new generation of strategic organizers who believe in the power of alliance-building and community-led change. It's our movement and our future. Let's make the most of it together. Click here to become a Sustainer or to make a secure, one-time donation.
