Each year, student and youth groups from across the U.S. visit Immokalee during their summer, winter and spring breaks. These trips, ranging from one to several days, provide students with an incredible opportunity to learn more about life in Immokalee as a farmworker, the inspiring work of the CIW, and the crucial role of students in the struggle for fair food. SFA has been coordinating alternative break and immersion programs in Immokalee for several years, and we'd love to work with your organization. Contact us to find out more about dates, fees, and curriculum. (Note: For a spring trip, it's best to begin the planning process during the previous fall.)
