We are so excited to welcome you to the 2025 SFA Encuentro!

In the past, it has typically cost us around $150 per person to hold a successful gathering, which includes costs for transportation, materials, food, housing, and meeting spaces.

This year, we will be offering a sliding scale registration that allows attendees to contribute based on their ability. We hope that this modified registration alleviates financial barriers to participating, especially for students or youth with limited or no institutional support. Further, SFA has limited funds available to provide scholarships for travel to Immokalee.

We encourage you to register at the highest level that you can afford, and to consider supporting the participation of others through our solidarity registration.

• Standard Registration: $50 - $70

• Solidarity Registration (to help cover the cost for another SFAer to attend): $70 - $150

If you are a student, consider reaching out to your schools for support with travel costs. Universities and colleges typically set aside money for students for travel and registration fees for conferences such as the Encuentro. We will gladly assist you with this process if you need any support!
